HAOS: delete all devices and entities

Hi,

I am still pretty new to HA myself, but I installed another instance for a friend on a NUC.
I used hassio and set up everything at my home.
Stupidly now many of my devices have been auto-detected within my home network and are still present in my friend´s HA.
I found some posts what to delete to get a “virgin” HA installation withour re-install, but nothing worked.
Does someone know how to delete all found devices and entities?

How did you create the entities?

  • Z-Wave / Zigbee / Integrations: Remove the integration and then remove the entities, they are now deletable (you can mass delete by checking the header when you filter)
  • Template Entities: Remove the YAML configurations and then delete like in the first bullet above

Essentially you delete the thing that created the entities, that then orphans them and you can mass delete them afterwards. You may need to reboot HA after you remove the integration or YAML entries.

well, I did not create anything. HA just scanned my net and found many things…

The same rule should apply, just go to settings and devices and remove whatever integrations were added by HA.
