Hi guys. I’ve been a HA user for a couple of years now. I haven’t upgraded my installation for a long time since it was working great as is. My only problem is that my Raspberry Pi is a bit outdated. Sometimes, it gets very hot and Linux crashes. This year, I bought a new raspberry pi and decided to upgrade all of the components, and my first instinct was to install Ubuntu, and HA over it, because I could use it as a little server for other tasks. I couldn’t install it on Ubuntu 24.10, because some packages were missing. The question is, If I install HAOS, would I be able to install python packages to run some scripts, like the AWS SDK ?
I don’t know the answer to your question about HAOS because I’ve never used it, but did you consider Raspberry Pi OS?
