HAOS Stuck on Version 15.2

I run HAOS on an old PC and it seems to be stuck on version 15.2.

I’ve left it until now thinking maybe it’ll like the next update but HAOS is now up to 16.2.

I’ve tried installing via the update notification in the web UI and also via the CLI with both methods seemingly going through the motions, then restarting without any errors only to find it’s still on 15.2 and the update notification still showing.

I’ve looked through the logs, most shown under host I don’t really understand, but there doesn’t appear to be anything I’ve not seen there before or anything about failed update etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

Is this a 32bit system?

Nope, not that old, its 64bit

I finally discovered what the issue was - the update was being applied to boot slot B. I tried the CLI command to boot to the other slot which didn’t work.

My HAOS machine is tucked away as I do pretty much everything remotely but thought I’d try working from it directly when I noticed during boot it flashes up which boot slot to load for about a second before automatically booting slot A. Once I discovered this, I was able to quickly press the down arrow and boot slot B with the fully update OS :grinning:

I had the opposite as Darryl. Mine booted from slot B. Rebooting to slot A resulted in receiving updates again. Many thanks for pointing me in this direction.
