Hardware failure?

It's been a while HA becomes unreachable after some time (like half an hour), so I connected a monitor to the mini pc where it's installed to, and nothing appears on the screen.
I noticed the led on the ethernet port is off, and also from my router's device list home assistant is no longer there. Mini pc's power led is on tough.

It's possible that it's an hardware failure?

Try a different ethernet cable, router/switch port, etc.

if you don't even see anything during bootup then it's most likely a hardware issue. Unless you see the bios screen but not the HA screen after then there's a chance of a hard drive or HA OS.

most likely….

  • could be a heat problem, check ventilation, check for accumulated dust etc.
  • could be faulty ram; try reseating it if that. doesn’t work, try replacing it by another.
  • could be a faulty harddrive/ssd, try another.
  • could be a faulty powersupply, checked connections; measure voltage over time.

Additional info that can be useful:
if I unplug the power cable and power it again, the system starts normally; after a while it loses the connection as I said before after like 30 minutes

I'm gonna open the pc and see if there is dust or something strange, hope to find what's wrong with it

It might help if you could name the hard ware like how much memory. List the apps/integrations running. Keep an eye on the system monitor to see where memory and cpu, temp are just before it goes down
