Harmony Hub Remote Screens in HA

So my kids lost the harmony hub remote…so I have an immediate need to integrate the harmony into my Home Assistant Docker. I just added the harmony hub to my configuration.yaml file so I am good to go.

Any suggestions for the best way to generate a remote screen so my non-techie family can control our TV and receiver? I see some people use floor plan…I haven’t set this up yet…so not sure how difficult that would be. I also just saw a tiles user interface. Any suggestions or screen shots to head me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Not a home assistant answer, but you can use your android phone/tablet with the harmony app.

The harmony app is what we are.currently using…but it just isn’t user friendly…can’t.figure out how to pass receiver volume through…so we are having.to switch devices. That is why I was thinking of making a home assistant panel with the buttons we need.

No touchscreen remote is any cop for controlling AV equipment other than simple on/off type controls, especially if you’ve been used to proper buttons, honest best advice is pucker up and by a new one.

Your volume issue sounds like it’s down to not setting up your activities properly, rerun the set up and see if anything looks amiss.
