Harvia Smart Sensor SAM001W (or alternative sauna temp/humidity sensor)

Hi, I’ve seen a interesting product recently.

It is a sensor from Harvia (sauna brand) that measures temperatur and humidity values and brings it to their own app MyHarvia. It is connected via WLAN and seams to work via cloud services.

I like the idea, but not without having it in home assistant. I found a integration on git, gut this has been updated years ago, while the product is pretty new.

So my question is, does anyone use this, and has an idea how/if it can be integrated in home assistant?
Or alternativly, maybe there is another product for the same thing available, that works … maybe even cloudless?

ESPHome has starter projects for temperature/humidity sensors that doesn’t involve any cloud based sevices and may save you a lot of time and money.

Right, thanks for bringing this back to my mind. I bougth a Sensor that works up tp 125 degrees Celsius and a ESP8266 and it works like a charm ... for around 10 Euro.

Even if this does not solve the initial question regardungs the Harvia, for me it is the better solution.
