Has anyone been able to get hass.io to act as their network router?

With the DHCP and DNS add-ons, it seems like you could put the two together and have Hass.Io serve as the network router. I’ve been messing around with it, but I can’t seem to get it to act as a gateway.

The reason why I’m attempting to do this is because I have a very competent access point, which can, but isn’t good at, being a router. I’m hoping that I can figure out how to get my Hass.io raspberry pi 3 to do that work and reduce the number of devices in the mix by one.

Has anyone had any luck?

I don’t think you would want to put that kind of load on your HA server.

A raspberry pi is a horrible option to be a router.
