Hass io does nothing

Downloaded latest version of Hassio and wrote image to 32gb micro sd card. Raspberry Pi II booted to logo screen and after a period of time screen went blank. But am not able to open a webpage to configure anything tried Ip address of Pi also tried default of local with port but still nothing. Have chatted with others who have same issue. Does anyonr know how to fix this issue?

Please e more specific, what ip and port did you try?
After about 20 minutes or more, depending on your connection, Hass IO should become available at
http://<ipaddress_pi>:8123

Is this not the case?

I thought I was specific, I have tried http://hassio.local:8123, did not work I have tried http://192.168.254.128.local:8123 did not work Have pinged my ip and that was fine and have waited more than a hour before trying after screen goes blank. But have never tried your way with http://192
.168.254.128_pi:8123

This will never work

Try http://192.168.254.128:8123

Why read DavidFW1960 he has suggested the very same think of using _pi:8123

ā€˜_piā€™ doesnā€™t exist.

Your IP is your IP. Thatā€™s it. What was said was to try your IP address. It was simply another way to write it. Unless you have ipv6, you donā€™t have any letters in the address.

That is what I thought but have had more than one to suggest to use _pi in the address I am not sure who really knows and who is guessing. All I can tell you is that have tried with and without anything after my ip and no luck

I have NEVER said to include _pi:8123

I might have said your-pi-ip:8123 or similar but that means to use your pi ip addressā€¦ not to type ip in there!
I even gave you a clickable link to http://192.168.254.128:8123 that you can click!

I have tried that already and it does nothing

Are you SURE your pi has the ip address of 192.168.254.128??? Actually Iā€™m pretty sure that is wrongā€¦

Actually the default subnet for some routers is 192.168.254.x. Itā€™s possible

I know the address is correct if it was not I could not ping it.
Living in the eastern part of North Carolina that is what I am provided with from Frontier

Sure but the128 at the end is a bit unusual

Well you know SOMETHING on your network is that address but itā€™s not necessarily the Pi. Try unplugging the ā€œPiā€ and see if it still responds.

I am beginning to believe you are the only one who know how to find an ip address please move on and and believe me , I know 100% that is my Pi address.
I have had this 192.168.254.xxx for more than 15 years so just believe me when I tell you the pi address is what it is. Now I am not the only one who is having this problem there are many others. So we need to move toward solving the issue and the issue is not my ip address. Thank you Whoisonmynetwork

Good Luck. Youā€™re going to need it with that attitude.

I see some interesting things in this screenshot.

You have more than one router? More than one gateway?

Are you sure the pi is able to connect to the internet? The first thing HASSIO does on its first boot is download all the docker images. If your internet is slow this can take a terrible amount of time.

I have but one router that handles all of my Internet the other one is an extension of my main router 192.168.254.254 is the main router and I have 6 1 gb of upload speed and 6 gb of down load speed. So I am going to give Hassio over night and see if this helps. Thanks
The Ethernet gateway you see is for my Vera3 and MYSensors to work and that is all it is for.

uh. 6gb? Donā€™t think so.

Is it running in AP mode or router mode?

You seem to have a very odd network topology.
