I’m completely new to homeassist. Today i installed Hassos on VirtualBox on windows 7. it starts up all okey and then wait in below screen
I waited more than 1 hour but still cannot access HA webpage (by IP:8123 or other method(s))
it just say refused to connect.
I can ping the VirtualBox IP from other computers on network. But there is no uploads or downloads to that IP through my router.
Im confused and dont know what to do. Pls help. thanks.

Settings are almost identical except im using a wireless adapter to connect to my WiFi.
The host uses it. correct?
The wifi drivers might not allow promiscuous mode. Is my first thought.
ESPhome is working well? My divices tell that they are offline. Anyone have esphome working in VM?
ESPhome is working for me! I’m traveling right now so can’t share screenshots from my settings in VirtualBox but I followed The Hook Ups tutorial about installing Hass.io and I’ve not had any issues https://youtu.be/vnie-PJ87Eg
However I remember now that I had some problems with Homekit when I set it up. I had to allow the port in Windows Firewall. If you are running Windows and are getting issues try to disable the firewall first to see if that’s the issue
