HASS Web page loading issues on Android

My instance of HomeAssistant now refuses to be accessed on my dedicated, mounted control tablet. Logo appears, but nothing else. No sign in request, no page-load ring. Nothing. (Android 4.1.2).

Have there been any changes that would impact access from older Android hardware, or Chrome?

My newer main tablet running 5.1.1 is not experiencing any problems…so far.

I’m going to ask an obvious question here so please don’t get offended; have you cleared the cache and history on the 4.1.2 tablet? Are you using Chrome or the inbuilt browser?

Oh yeah. Cleared all. No progress with either browser, even factory data reset one of them. I have TWO of these identical tablets, both set to the same Google accounts, so same apps loaded, same updates.
Both giving the same errors.

Hi, I have a similar issue, my HASS UI is not accessible from any Android device. But I can access it from windows PCs (wired) and Surface Pro (windows, wifi).

In my case it says “Connection timeout” browser error, no sign of HASS activity at all.

What might be the case? Other than clearing browser cache :slight_smile:
