Hi,

Just starting to put some effort back in to my home assistant setup and found Hassapp on the App Store.

I’ve installed it but am unable to authenticate with my local home assistant instance (getting a invalid client id or redirect error).
Initially I assumed it was due to that fact that I’m trying to auth via a local IP (even though it should work on a private range) so I switched to using a locally resolvable URI, homeassistant.local:8123 but I’m still getting the same error.

I’ve had a quick look at the logs in home assistant and every time I try to connect I’m seeing an error referring to the invalid certificate on the hassapp.com domain
SSL error while looking up redirect_uri https://www.hassapp.com

I’m assuming its the external domains cert that causing the issue?

Yeah, nice catch! There was issue with the certificates but it is already solved. Give it another try :wink:

Installed on iPhone SE running iOS 13 but as soon as I try to manage a device (add to a room) the app crashes and won’t start again, have to delete app and reinstall but the same happens

Can only get it working on Wifi, not on cellular. Can use the companion app through DNS without any problems.

is it possible to join the app? The TestFlight link says it is already full :confused:

Hey is this project dead or still being updated I really like the look of it but missing a few things like I can dim lights.
