Hassbain: Uninstall and reinstall Homeassistant

Hello

I am using Hassbian and I messed up some things so I want to freshly reinstall home-assistant without reinstalling everything else (mosquitto, samba, etc.). I tried to

sudo pip3 uninstall homeassistant

but that only throws the message

Cannot uninstall requirement homeassistant, not installed

Anybody some suggestions how to only reinstall homeassistant without affecting anything else?

See this answer from yesterday. But its curious that you are both making the same mistake. Is this command in a rogue set of instructions somewhere?

Problem downgrading/reverting to a previous version of HA

If you are using hassbian, you have HA installed in a virtual environment using the homeassistant user. Specifying a different version of HA is just like upgrading. You need to switch to homeassistant user, activate the virtual environment, and then run the pip command.

Thank you very much. I havent ssen instructions on the HASS webpage but I have found an other post in the forum where there is not mentioned anyrhing about virtual environment although the user had hassbian installed
