Having trouble keeping a 3rd reality MT1 matter switch in sync

Hi all I’m trying to set up a 3rd Reality matter MT1 smart switch I have it set up and it seems to be working OK if I’m inside gov device screen on Home Assistant but if I try to flip the little but I’m on the tile on the outside It’s like it flips on and then flips off and it’s like it gets out of sync I’m trying this is the first time I’ve ever set up the switch like this and I’m not sure what options I may need to change

What channel is/are your WiFi/AP('s) using and what channel is your Thread network using? This type of behavior could be happening because of RF interference. Those channels may not be playing nice in the sandbox together. If you can, login to your router and make sure your WiFi/AP radio is NOT set to “auto”. You’ll want to force it to Channel 1 or 6 or 11, but will ultimately depend on what channel Thread is using to know what’s probably best (without considering any neighboring 2.4Ghz networks).

Going the extra mile - install an analyzer tool, like inSSIDer on a laptop, or they make network analyzer apps for phones, too. This will allow you to scan your immediate area and pickup neighboring radios, which will help you in determining what will be the best channels to use for your networks. In any case, always avoid “auto” on your WiFi. In my experience, it never works like the manufactures say it’s supposed to.
