Hi everyone, I have an EG4 system setup that is grid-tied and I have some battery storage too, and while most numbers in the energy dashboard look correct (PV yield, battery charge/discharge, and grid import/export) my total consumption is way off.
My actual consumption number is for today thus far in EG4 is 41.1kWh but HA is showing 88.5kWh
It seems to be adding up solar PV production, battery charge, and grid import, but then subtracting grid export, and battery discharge?
When in reality that’s not my actual consumption for my home today.
It should be taking in the total grid import, and solar PV yield, battery discharge, and then subtracting the battery charging from the equation (but not grid export).
Is there a way I can correct this behavior so that my consumption matches what EG4’s monitor shows for the day which is more accurate?
