Hello guys!
I'm fairly new to HA, but not automation, been using Hubitat for many years.
I currently have HA running in a VM inside my Synology DS720, but most (99%) of my devices are still managed by Hubitat and its networks.
My goal is to slowly transition to HA in the future.
I wanted to to see if the HA community has a good solution to my effort to achieve granular control over my Carrier 5 ton Dual Stage Heat Pump with Infinity variable blower and Aprilaire E100 dehumidifier.
Here's my goal, I want to directly control heat pump staging like such:
- If outdoor temp < 90 and indoor temp above setpoint, trigger Stage 1 cooling
- If stage 1 cooling runtime > 30 mins, switch to stage 2
- If outdoor temp > 90, skip stage 1 cooling, go straight to stage 2
Do you guys know if there is a Thermostat compatible with HA that would allow me to create custom rules in which I can achieve this level of control ?
