I’m trying to help a friend with a new domestic heating installation. We’ve bought Heatit Z-water relay actor modules, and z-temp2 sensors from Thermofloor as. I’m using zwavejs2mqtt and have sucessfully integrated all devices and set up group associations. What I’m experiencing though, is that the climate entity is swithing to cooling mode, which is a regulation mode the Z-wave device doesn’t support.
This results in the z-temp2 thermostat activating the z-water relay ( as is should have done, but when in Heating mode ). So the cooling demand is activating the Heating relay, resulting in even higher room temp. Any Idea how to disable the cooling mode in the climate entity?
Hi Christian, sorry dont have an answer for you, but could you please share the correct way of setting up groups ? I just bought a z-temp2 and a zm termostat 16A (built-in relay for controlling floor-heat (electric). I dont have any experience on setting up the groups
Do I set the group on the z-temp2, zm or both?
Groups on the z-temp2 that I see (endpoint 0 only)
Lifeline (default and already assigned)
Temperature Report
On/Off Ccontrol
Groups on the zm termostat that is see (endpoint 0 only)
Lifeline (default and already assigned)
External Control
I set the grouping a couple of times, but the values is not shown when doing a refresh…except the External Control (endpoint 0) that is linked to z-temp2 endpoint 0
