My Inventum Modul-AIR (air/water heatpump) is directly connected to a MAX-tank (boiler of 180l). The heatpump transports heat to the boiler using water. And besides, it heats the boiler using a electric heating element, when needed.
No documentation is availlable (as I know) that handles about communication with other devices.
But the heatpump has an extra small circuit board (“PCB zone controller”) on the main circuit board, with a DP, DM, PE outlet/inlet. The voltage between DP-PE = 1,7V; DM-PE = 1,9V; DP-DM = 0,2V. Also no documentation is found.
I use an adapter: “Waveshare RS232/485/422 TO POE ETH (B)” which translates the RS422 (I asume is the protocol of the Inventum) to Modbus. But the communication with the Modul-AIR isn’t working. In the installer-menu there is no possibility to set ON/OFF any external communication.
Some people do suggest Inventum and Nibe look quite familiar. So perhaps I could borrow some ideas overthere.
Does anyone has any experience with connecting the Modul-AIR to Home Assistant? Is this RS422 to Modbus a potential solution?
Thanks for your trouble!
