Hi,
Has anyone purchased the Heiman HS2SK-Z Smart Plug for use with HA? Would it work as a switch and report energy usage? It has a CE mark and seems a relatively cheap option, if compatible.

I have 4 of them with UK plug, they work really well. They report power, energy. Only thing is they are not z-wave plus, bit otherwise, they work great.
From a switching perspective in automations ( lile generic thermostat for space heaters) they are 1000% more reliable that wemo or orvibo which use wifi…
I have only had them a month, but am already sold
Thanks for the feedback.
I took a punt and ordered two, just before I saw your response anyway. Good to know they should work with HA.
I also found a thread on the SmartThings forum that mention the Heiman devices and they seem to like them there, especially for the price and especially because their Samsung smart plugs seem to keep catching fire…
urgh… smartthings… just waiting for a couple of xiaomi motion sensors and then I will be rid of that shite for good…
How do we get home assistant to find these? I’ve got 3 that are rebranded as “Wuudi” devices, but look identical and I can’t get anything to connect to them, apart from the really poor bundled app (called “Smart Home”) These - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Monitoring-working-Wuudi-Required-Anywhere/dp/B071J876JG
Those are not the same. they use wifi not z-wave…
