I’m part of the IMOU Open Platform team.
We’ve recently joined the Home Assistant community because we’d like to better understand how people are using IMOU devices with Home Assistant and where the biggest integration challenges are.
Whether you’re using the official integration, RTSP, ONVIF, or other community solutions, we’d love to hear about your experience.
Some of the topics we’re especially interested in include:
- Device discovery and setup
- Live streaming performance
- Motion detection and event handling
- Automation scenarios
- Local vs. cloud connectivity
- Feature requests for future integrations
We’ll also do our best to answer technical questions related to IMOU device integration whenever we can.
As the team behind the IMOU Open Platform, we’d also like to share updates when new integration capabilities become available, explain how they work, and gather feedback from developers and Home Assistant users before future improvements.
Our goal isn’t simply to announce new features—we’d like to understand real-world use cases and make the integration better together with the community.
