Hello, looking for help with H5075

My H5075 will not connect to my new phone. Worked fine for a long time on my previous phone. Does anyone know how to totally reset it or unpair it to the old phone (which I don’t have anymore)?

What do you mean by H5075? A hygrometer?

Please provide more details.

Yes, it is a temp and humidity meter. Will not pair to my new Samsung S21, worked fine on my older S9. The phone sees the device but won’t connect to it.

Maybe you should ask for support at Govee site as this problem is not related to Home Assistant.

I have some Govee hygrometer, but not this same model. Based on my experience, I would suggest you to make sure you are login to Govee app with e same user you used before (in your older phone), as they have an option to lock their sensors to specific accounts.
If you don’t remember your user name or password, they probably have an option to recover it. Again the Govee support might be your best try.

Also, make sure you are using the Govee app to connect to the sensor. The sensor shouldn’t connect directly to your phone’s Bluetooth manager.

The sensor supports connection to multiple devices. You don’t have to “unpair” from your older phone. Again, it can be locked to your account, not to a specific device.

And as you are new over here, I’m not sure if you know Home Assistant…

With Home Assistant you can have data from your hygrometer (and a million other things) integrated in a single place and use that information to control automations between the systems and… see the values in your phone without having to pair the sensor directly to your phone.
