Help Connecting a Tesla PW3 to HA

Hi,

I have read lots of posts on this site on how to connect a PW3 to HA. Each successful case seems to be an edge case. I have HA running on a Linux server and a (2026) PW3, and I cannot get them to work together. Both are on the same LAN. I have tried using the password in the gateway with no success.

I see some posts saying you cannot connect through LAN and some that do. Some say the password is the last 5 digits of the password in the gateway, and some say the password is behind the glass on the PW itself. Some people say they have been successful, and others seem to have given up.

I would really like to hear from anyone who has successfully connected a PW3 to HA using a similar setup to mine. I haven’t removed the front of the PW3, yet… but this may be this weekend’s job!

Any help would be very welcome.

Hi, Replying to my own post, just in case it helps others. I have now successfully connected to my PW3. It is connected using a LAN. I had to use the last 5 letters of the password behind the glass on the Power Wall unit itself.
