Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice regarding a ceiling LED light (model XD-1001, Tuya Wi-Fi).
The lamp has two separate LED sections :
- a downward-facing light (warm or cool white),
- and an upward-facing light that illuminates the ceiling.
The problem is that Home Assistant only shows a single control for both LEDs, making it difficult to manage them precisely — I can’t choose which light I want to control.
I managed to create a temporary workaround using actions, but it’s far from ideal. For example, I still can’t turn off only one of the two lights.
I’d really like to know if there’s a way to control each LED section separately, maybe by splitting the lamp into two entities (one for the upper light and one for the lower one).
I’ve already tried integrating it with the official Tuya integration, Tuya Local and Xtend Tuya .
None of them seem to expose separate controls for the two LEDs.
Has anyone found a working solution for this kind of dual-light Tuya device?
Thanks in advance!
