Help creating groups in the gui

Ive been trying to create new groups but I don’t see any way to do that in the gui. Is it only possible by editing the yaml?

Correct; there’s no facility in the UI for creating groups.

Because Home Assistant is created by volunteers and no one has volunteered to do it. That’s why.
