Hi everyone,
I’m trying to integrate my split air conditioner into Home Assistant and I’m stuck at the hardware identification step. I’m hoping someone here has already dealt with this specific unit or its OEM family.
The unit:
-
Brand: Eluxe Clima (I believe it’s part of the HTW Group)
-
Model: ELSD26EC0JR32-INT
-
Type: Split 1x1 ECO
-
The label also mentions “Klimaanlage 1x1 Split” and “ELSD26EC0JR32-INT” with a barcode.
The problem:
On the indoor unit PCB there is a 5-pin female connector (black housing, 5 positions in a single row) that is clearly reserved for an optional WiFi module. I have attached photos of:
-
The 5-pin connector on the PCB.
-
A generic WiFi adapter I found on Amazon (CS532AX style) which has a different 4+1 pin layout, so it doesn’t fit.
-
The terminal block area on the same board for reference.
What I’ve tried / found so far:
-
I searched the Home Assistant Community and Reddit but found almost nothing specific to Eluxe or the ELSD26EC0JR32-INT model.
-
I saw mentions that some HTW models (e.g., IX80) are actually rebranded Gree units and use a Gree WiFi module (CS532AE), but I have no confirmation for my model.
-
I also read that HTW sometimes uses Midea-based protocols, but again, no confirmation for this specific unit.
-
The official HTW USB WiFi module (USBWIFI06) exists, but my unit does not have a USB port, only this 5-pin header.
My questions for the community:
-
Has anyone here successfully integrated an Eluxe / HTW split with a 5-pin WiFi header into Home Assistant?
-
Can anyone identify the pinout of this 5-pin connector? (I suspect it’s +12V, GND, +5V enable, TX, RX based on similar Midea/Gree designs, but I don’t want to guess and fry the board.)
-
Is there a known ESPHome / ESP32 solution for this specific connector, or a proven adapter that goes from this 5-pin header to a standard USB WiFi module?
-
If you have the same unit, did you manage to get the official WiFi module working, and if so, what is its part number?
Any help, schematics, or even just a “I have the same unit and here’s what I did” would be hugely appreciated. I’m happy to provide more photos or measurements if needed.
Thanks in advance!
