I have used the “firemote card” to map the buttons of my AppleTV and it has worked flawlessly.
I am currently trying to get my Ziddo box (android set top box to play video files) setup in the same way. I have tried “universal remote card” but could not get it to send the commands to my box. I did get the “universal remote card” to successfully control my LG TV, Samsung Frame TV and Samsung QLED TV. So I know the card works.
However, when I select AndroidTV as the platform and select the Zidoo remote and Zidoo box as the Remote ID and the Media Player ID, I do not get any of the commands to work.
I have confirmed the integration (3rd party zidoo) works as well. I have a button for the remote entity and I can select it and then select one of the “actions” from the drop-down and that will send the command to the Zidoo successfully.
So, is there a way I can manually “map” the buttons on one of the “remotes” from all of the activites I can choose in the drop-down for the remote entity?
I am new to all of this so I am sure this is an easy way that I just don’t know about.
