Hi there.
I’m struggling to figure out the wiring diagram for an LED light made iot by a Golepto controller.
The tricky bit is that the construction is in japan, which generate some trouble and language barrier. As a matter of fact, our eletrician can only install officially approved products (which means using only Panasonic products), so we agreed that I will plug in my IoT converersion on top of the new lines.
Another big constrain is that I need to keep all lights being able to be turn on/off by a normal dumb switch as failsafe.
So far I’ve worked with sonoff zigbee switches and they work great, but for LED is a little different story.
So here is my diagram. I can’t really figure out if the iot controller is nearby the dimmer switch, or down the line (which don’t make much sense, as it will receive already dimmed power?)
Any help?
Here are my 3 options.
I’m starting to be afraid this system wont work.
That I either control the dimming from the switch OR from the iot panel.
Second point: I have an RGB controller, since the spec of the light changed in the meantime. Can I still use it, or I need to buy another one?
Ps. Yes the obvious solution would have a iot dimmer switch in the first place, but the panasonic switch, beside consting way too much, use a propetary bluetooth connection that, for my understanding, cannot be plugged into HA without an (expensive) Panasonic hub.
Thanks!
