I am just not able to get the device_tracker. sensor of my Android phone working properly. It is always shown an “unknown” when I’m connected to the network. All other sensors of the same phone (e.g. battery state, charging state and so on) are shown properly.
I already have enabled permanent connection.
I’ve read in some threads that the “minimal” HA companion Android app version does not support the device_tracker sensor. But the threads I have found are very old. Is it still the case that the “minimal” HA companion Android app does not support this specific sensor? If so, is there a workaround?
