I have a Siemens dishwasher with AutoOpen option which doesn’t work since an update few months ago. I have tried resetting it and the door after a cycle will open the first time and after won’t do it.
I have the dishwasher integrated via HomeConnect and I can see it on my HA.
When I go to try to make an automation when the cycle is finished for HA to send the command to open the door, I can not find the entity in the options.
For example, I can see this in triggers:
But when I go into actions the door simply won’t show up
Is there a way to automate this? I have tried updating the dishwasher but even that didn’t help.
Can you go into the developer tools and check the available information of the dishwasher there?
Is the integration you are using native HA functions or installed a HACS addon?
And most importantly, van you execute the command from (the Siemens) app and does the door open?
All in all I would call the support to complain a out the feature no longer working even of it is out of warranty.
Yes I can see the entities when I go Integrations and into the Home Connect, I can see the dishwasher and all of the entities. I installed it via HA, not through HACS
Yes when i open from the Home Connect the door it will open
