Loaded up a version of HA earlier this year to play with. Good intentions. I remain very much a ‘noob’. Currently running zigbee2MQTT. At one point, I attempted to follow addition of ‘zigbee2MQTT’ into the HA sidebar (for quick access). However, when I click on the option, instead of the Z2M configuration page, I get two additional sidebars. It has come to my attention that I should be seeing a page with a top menu (Devices, Dashboard, Settings, Group, etc.) Can someone help me get this corrected?
Thanks Tom_I,
Attempts to update Home Assistant and Z2M using docker-compose.yaml are failing (in my hands). Notes in the forum indicate that it is a possible that Portainer is the culpret. However, I’m getting a little gun shy (afraid I’ll ‘break’ something). Was hoping to find a good procedure for routine updates. But, so far most posts are simply calling attention to errors. Any recommendations?
Ah, ok your are not running HA OS. So you have containerised Z2M, not the HA add-on. I don’t know a whole lot about that. Someone else will have to help. As far as I am aware Portainer is only an issue for HA OS, you should be fine to use it.
