Helper to tack sun shutter opening percentage

Good morning,
To control my sun shutter and its integrated dimmable lights, instead of using an official product, I preferred - saving money - to use Shelly relays to control the four buttons on my Somfy remote control (doing some soldering on the remote control button contacts).
My question is this: considering that, for example, once a button is pressed, the awning opens, and considering that it takes 20 seconds to fully open, can I create an entity that automatically tracks the sun shutter’s opening percentage? So, if I press “open” and then 10 seconds later press “stop”, I would like this entity to report an opening percentage of 50%.

@Scarpetta3 do you have IO or RTS shutters? If you have RTS, I would personally look at rstrouse/ESPSomfy-RTS: A controller for Somfy RTS shades and blinds
