Helpers do not have settings pages anymore

I have had this for a while now, whilst I have constantly updated to the most recent release (2024.11.1 core, 2024.11.2 supervisor, OS 13.2, frontend 20231106.1)

When I go to a helper, I can click on it and it opens the page with the current state. If I then select the cog to enter the settings, I get a blank pop-up, only displaying the name of the helper in bold, with an β€˜<’ in front of it to return to the overview/current state of this helper. I do therefor not have a chance to change the name, or add items to an input_select list. It works normal for entities.

As nobody has been complaining loudly about this (and I found nothing in google or chatgpt), I presume it is a local issue.

I run Home Assistant in a VirtualBox on an Ubuntu NUC, over an SSL connection.

You’re absolutely right. Tried it first on 2 machines, but they gave me the same result. So therefor I never really thought of it as a browser issue. Thank you for helping me with that.

Hi, please mark this thread as solved so anyone who’s searching for this can benefit from it.
You do that by selecting the three dots under the post that has helped you:

Then select the check box:

Also, by doing so this prevents that someone else steps in for trying to help.
