High power z wave switch outlet?

I need a switch that can turn an air conditioner on and off that is 20a? I have one now but it just stops responding sometimes when it turns on because of the load I think. Also it’s zigbee and I don’t really like zigbee.

The Zooz ZEN15 is rated for 15A and motor loads, and comes highly recommended by me…

Do yourself a pleasure and use just any switch to command a good contactor. Their are suited for larger power by design and way more reliable, than running the switch itself always near the max rated…

Is there a premade device that would work with just a trigger wire and a z wave switch that’s small enough to somehow just solder into the case and onto the power and trigger wire, to just make it into one small unit I can use?

I’m in an apartment and my county has some orwellean policy of requiring my landlord allow someone into my apartment to check all my electronics every year and make sure I didn’t make any of them. Requiring me to literally unplug a bunch of stuff and put it in a closet because of the outlet fascists. Like I had a z wave contactor made by GE that I wired a male plug and female plug into with flexible conduit and 8 gauge wire and somehow he had an issue with it because I’m not an electrician. It was so overbuilt it’s crazy. I soldered directly to the board and insulated everything properly. And now I have to find another solution or unplug a bunch of shit every Year. They dont even allow someone to take a class for residential electrical here. Like they don’t recognize it as valid. It’s really annoying. And simultaneously I can’t find anything powerful enough to perform the task that I won’t be complained at for having. And apparently they plan on implementing fines at some point.
