I see the Doorbell in the Explorer. But still no entitites and switches
Not sure why, maybe you disabled auto discovering in HA? Anyway, if the entities are there, you can always define manually mqtt entities in HA and create the ones you need
Hey Fabio, Like many other have said thank you for taking the time to put this together. I recently started setting up Hikvision Access Control at my resident and I have a few issue that I am struggling to understand.
For my setup I have KD8003IME1 intercoms. I am trying to setup my system without any indoor station, but rather a few android tablets within the various resident on the property. It seems that in IVMS4200 I am missing a few of the settings that you have in your setup guide for asterisk as indoor station. I am running the latest version of IVMS.
Do I need to have at least 1 indoor station in order to access those settings as for setting up extensions?
If no, are you able to share some additional information of how to get this done when no indoor station exist?
Do I need linphone for this work?
Indoor stations are mandatory for 8003 intercoms, my guide for extensions is based on indoor stations ;+)
If you don’t have any, you need to configure the device for SIP , there is an asterisk addon for that purpose , and also Lovelace cards… You dont need my addon then to grab events, you can use SIP for events like incoming call and abort call
So if I get one indoor unit can I still use standard tablets for the other 3 that I want to place around the other buildings?
Would the asterisk that you referenced different than the one in your guide?
Would the SIP configuration protocol be the one called Intercom protocol in the resource management?
Would SIP for events also allow me to lock and unlock the gates and doors?
Do you mind sharing the links for these?
it depends how you want to configure those other 3 standard devices? Most people use default system OR sip OR a combination with my guide to register an extension to forward
I dont use SIP myself, but within a SIP call you can open a door by sending an “#”
If there is no call event, you can send an ISAPI command to open door, see first post of this thread, you can create for example a shell command or use my addon to open a door
I would like to use your guide as it appears to be very comprehensive. I will order a indoor station today. Once I have the indoor station installled and configured Will I then be able to use the tablets as extensions if I have linphone installed on them?
I am looking to use tablets due to their versatility and ease of replacing if something goes wrong. That said I need to meet two un-negotiable critirea: Reliability and Wife and family approval.
Hi again. I am about MQTT-topic “hmd/text/Outdoor/ISAPI-request” how is it works?
I going to put “/AccessControl/CardReaderCfg/1?format=json” to enable / disable face id
Or just install hikconnect on those tablets instead of making it difficult …
It’s documentened on the GitHub page with examples
Fabio, not trying to be difficult or make this difficult, All I am trying to do is gain local control and reliability using things that I am already using throughout my spaces.
Ah ok, then I think the best way forward is to use SIP for all devices, no indoor, that should be the stablest using Asterisk… My guide is just a hacky guide
Also if you use SIP, you can use HA Lovelace card to answer call too, there is a card compatible with Asterisk
Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone has managed to integrate a Hikvision alarm, specifically the DS-PHA64-LP(B) model. I’m new to Home Assistant, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could guide me through a relatively simple process to set it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Look here:
Hi, I read earlier in the thread about the problem where calling /ISAPI/VideoIntercom/callStatus always returns the value “idle”. I have the same situation and I would like to ask you if you managed to find out why this is happening. Pressing the button does not change the state in the API.
If you have an indoor attached, the status idle is indeed normal on outdoor stations… It will show ringing on indoor device instead
I have a simple installation, DS-KV8113-WME1 and DS-KH6320-WTE1. I check the status by connecting to DS-KV8113-WME1 and I always get “idle”. I know that I used to get this status from this place and it worked ok. “ring” appeared when I pressed the bell outside.
you need to check the status on indoor , or used my addon that generates an event from outdoor
Could you tell me or guide me how to get this information from the indoor unit or how to use your add-on?
