what beta where you running? in snapshot there is nothing changed, this is a feature present for a long time
maybe openhab doesnt support image mqtt entities, i think you can just ignore it
Actually itās another problem. Iām on vacation and canāt check right now, but after doing a power cycle the indoor station cannot be pinged any more. Iāll check next week when back at home.
I have now added an text entity, you can define an https url to mp3 for example, when filled in, and the user at indoor panel answers, the mp3 file will be playedā¦ Some kind of broadcast 
But will change it, I will make an broadcast button, so the mp3 file we be played on the indoor panels without initiating a call firstā¦
So we have call on / off button to actually talkā¦ And a broadcast button to send audio files
Broadcast function added, now you can send pre recorded audio files to indoor station 
Correct, I changed namesā¦ Stop addon delete the MQTT device , start addon and new entities with new names are being created, the are named now call on / off and broadcast
Make sure to update to latest beta, where I introduced the broadcast button and text entity
This code displays DS-KD8003 in the indoor unit. Iāve modified this with my own message. Is there any way to change the font size ? The letters are a bit small in the 7" screen.

Hi, anyone using with Doorbell DS KV6114? Does everything work?
I replaced a DS-KD8003-IME1 Gen2 with the DS-KV6144-WBE1. It didnāt work until I upgraded the firmware on all my indoor stations. I am not using any functionality in HA other than getting notification when the doorbell is ringing. The old KD8003 was able to send a notification instantly (firmware below 3.7.x) whereas the KV6144 now has to be polled which has introduced a noticeable delay in notifications - a few seconds.
The upside isā¦
ā¢ drastic improvement in image quality (expected) which has helped Frigate detections.
ā¢ nicer button layout, I had delivery drivers fail to find the ONLY button on the KD8003 panel.
ā¢ slightly louder speaker.
ā¢ The lens is flat unlike the convex lens of the KD8003 so I am hoping it will not get the same lens flare issues as the KD8003 as the Australian sun mercilessly destroys it.
Downside is that the KD8003 was recessed so I butchered its mounting plate and cut black Perspex to create a flat surface to mount the KV6144.
The securing pin that screws in the bottom is the wrong thread for the unit. It is too large. I had to improvise and am yet to contact the seller to work out if I am doing something very stupid or if it is a manufacturing fault.
Really cool. I didnāt know the new DS-KV6114-WBE1. How does Bluetooth unlock works? It looks a pretty good feature, since thereās an open API to use it in 3rd party apps
