I have a Smets 2 meter that was once used as multi rate for economy 10.
It had Day/ Night or some would say R1 & R2 readings.
I’ve just left the Octopus IOG ev tariff but the meter detected and used the Total Import Reading. In a nutshell it didn’t care what R1 or R2 said individually, it just added the two rates together for the total rate.
Now I believe they wasn’t using R2 at all, but they still added R1 & R2 together to get my total usage. R2 wasn’t incrementing.
However EDF use R1 only and not the total.
This has left me in a situation where my total reading on my meter was 11,000 kWh.
Octopus agree it was 11,000 kWh.
The Glow IHD says it’s 11,000 kWh
The meter total says it’s 11,000 kWh.
EDF says R1 is 7,000 kWh and their smart meter readings also say it’s 7,000 kWh.
They are also ignoring the 4,000 kWh R2.
But they’re not using the total import.
Now my Glow IHD is 4000 kWh out.
So my question is, does anyone know how to get the Glow with mqtt to obtain the R1/R2 or Day/Night readings from the meter.
