History not showing after move from Ubuntu 18.04LTS Docker to HassOS on Proxmox VM

Because my setup wasn’t supported anymore (running supervised in docker at Ubuntu 18:04) and I was not able to upgrade to the 2020.12 version, I decided to migrate to Hass OS in a VM under Proxmox.

I installed Home Assistant using the ‘oneliner’ from whiskerz007. (with HassOS 4.20)
Then I restored my latest snapshot and all devices were back and working. So far so good. Even my Z-Wave devices using the USB Aeotec Z-Stick, with USB passthrough.

Then I did the upgrade to 2020.12.1 and after that the OS upgrade to Hass OS 5.8.

But then I found that the graphs weren’t working on my dashboard.
It only shows the text “loading state history…” and nothing happens.
Or it shows blue cirkeling cirkels.

Also, my history panel doesn’t show anything

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Check your log file for errors about the database being malformed. If that’s the case delete home-assistant_v2.db from your config folder and restart HA.

I see indeed a error about malformed DB.

2020-12-21 20:26:53 ERROR (Recorder) [homeassistant.components.recorder] Error executing query: (sqlite3.DatabaseError) database disk image is malformed

Thank you. This solved the issue.
