Hive Integration Login Fails: "Incorrect Password" Error

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble logging into the Hive integration via HACS on Home Assistant. Whenever I try to sign in, I get the error:

“Failed to sign into Hive. Incorrect password please try again.”

However, my credentials are correct—I can log into the Hive website with the same username and password.

What I’ve Tried So Far:

:white_check_mark: Verified login works on Hive’s website.
:white_check_mark: Reset password and tried again.
:white_check_mark: Disabled & re-enabled 2FA on my Hive account.
:white_check_mark: Uninstalled & reinstalled the Hive integration via HACS.
:white_check_mark: Restarted Home Assistant after reinstalling.
:white_check_mark: Tried different versions of the integration (2025.1.0 & 2024.1.0).
:white_check_mark: Enabled debug logging—no errors appear in logs.

System Details:

  • Device: Raspberry Pi 5
  • Home Assistant Version: 2024.13.2, 2024.14.1, 2024.14.2 (latest).
  • Hive Integration Version: 2025.1.0 & 2024.1.0.
  • Hive Account: UK-based.
  • 2FA Status: Enabled on both Hive and Home Assistant.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a workaround or something I might be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
