you need to connect the controller first and then the thermostat via the controller.
Not sure which controller you have, but here are the instructions for the SLR2c…
Pairing the receiver (SLR2c)
Temporarily disconnect thermostat by removing a battery from them.
Turn boiler & receiver off, then on again to ensure receiver is not trying to connect to any thermostats.
Once boiler is back on:
Hold down the central heating button until light turns white/pink then release. The receiver is now in stand-alone mode.
Hold down the central heating button again until light double-flashes amber then release. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
Pair with Z2M using “Permit Join (all)”.
The light may change to a single flash & will remain amber until it is paired with the thermostat.
Rename the receiver to something like Hive.
Pairing the thermostat (SLT3c)
On the thermostat:
Make sure the thermostat is close to the receiver to pair properly.
Replace the battery in the thermostat and allow to boot.
Press and hold the menu and back buttons to factory reset the device. Allow the countdown to finish and release when you see ‘welcome’ - after selecting - a language, it will enter pairing mode.
In Z2M:
use the dropdown arrow next to Permit Join to select Hive (added earlier).
Start pairing with Permit join (Hive) button.
Wait around 30 seconds.
The thermostat should now pair to the receiver.
The receiver’s flashing amber light should turn green
The thermostat will go through the getting started wizard.
I’m not aware off one, even though I do use Hive as I created a fairly complex set of automations that combine Fujitsu AC’s with the Hive system to provide a unified Climate system.
The simplest method, is to have a helper which groups the TRV’s heat required and then have an automation that set’s the Receivers set point temperature to a high value (say 30 celcius) when heat is required and a low value (12 celcius) when heat is not required.
