Home Assistant 2022.7.0 - Error doing job: Task exception was never retrieved

I’ve started getting these exception in the HA log every ten minutes, 9.10, 9.20, 9.30 etc. No issues with the previous version, which was (from memory) 2022.6.6. Any ideas here, other than rolling back to the previous version?

Bug logged : https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/74665

Seems to be fixed with 2022.7.1

Interesting, thanks. I might give it a week or so before I upgrade again, just so the bugs can be worked out.

I am not sure if I should start a new thread for this. But I might have a somewhat related issue. Though I suspect it is to do with the Tesla intgration and nothing to do with openweathermap as I suspect I do not run that.

I am getting the following errors in the /config/home-assistant.log log file every 10 seconds or so :-

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/helpers/update_coordinator.py”, line 151, in _handle_refresh_interval
await self._async_refresh(log_failures=True, scheduled=True)
File “/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/helpers/update_coordinator.py”, line 283, in _async_refresh
self.async_update_listeners()
File “/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/helpers/update_coordinator.py”, line 110, in async_update_listeners
update_callback()
File “/config/custom_components/tesla_custom/tesla_device.py”, line 129, in refresh
self.tesla_device.refresh()
File “/usr/local/lib/python3.10/site-packages/teslajsonpy/homeassistant/charger.py”, line 121, in refresh
self.__maxrange_state = data[“charge_to_max_range”]
KeyError: ‘charge_to_max_range’

I also have some other issues with the Tesla integration that has appeated in the last few days. eg the “Battery %” sensor is not always showing “unknown” where it once reported perfectly.

Admins, if I should post this as a new topic relating to Tesla, please let me know.

Further to the post above, I should clarify that I am running :-
Home Assistant 2022.10.4
Supervisor 2022.10.0
Operating System 9.2
Frontend 20221010.0 - latest

So all up to date.

Further to my issue above, I believe I have found a workaround (if not a fix).

I have had a “Control” called “Maxrange switch” enabled (not sure if that is something I did, or it was a default). I disabled this, and my error message went away, AND the battery % came back. So I think that has addressed it for me. Though not sure if this Control should be available or needs to be fixed??
