Recently upgraded from Core 2022.2.2 to 2022.2.3. Also, OS 7.1 to 7.2. SmartThings integration used to work, but now broken. Removed it. Trying to re-add it back following re-generation of new token, getting error “The token does not have the required OAuth scopes.”
Not sure why it is no longer possible to re-add SmartThings. I had tried everything, even reverting to previous Core and OS versions, and nothing works anymore. I have checked every single checkbox for the SmartThings scope.
This had worked before without issues. Not sure what is going on. I am using Nabu Casa, so it should be straightforward.
I’m afraid I won’t be of much help here. My system (22022.2.3 and OS 7.2, using the SmartThings integration and Nabu Casa too) weathered the upgrades without any problem and is working fine.
I was finally able to regenerate a new token for SmartThings. Thereafter, this new token allowed me to re-add the SmartThings integration into the Home Assistant Configuration. It must’ve an intermittent glitch.
Probably, your previous token was not capturing some specific permissions which is needed in new version. When you generate new token, it is included with it.
Maybe, you can compare previous and new token and document what is additional scope needed.
