Hi
As of Saturday pm my wife’s phone has stopped sending location updates from her app to Home Assistant. Her location remains static as far as HA is concerned.
I’ve restarted the app (and left it running in the background), but not yet the phone. Is there any way I can see what instances of the App are connected at any time?
Also any other suggestions. This has been working fine for some weeks and simply stopped on Saturday
Thanks, I will. I’m going to be out of zone later and will be able to check mine. I’m a little suspicious that my external connection might not be working, as I was unable to connect on 5G earlier.
Maybe not your situation but … since my the battery of son’s iphone had issues, he’d put it on battery saver ‘always’ and a.o. this stops background updates of HA.
My wife’s phone stopped updating her Geolocation/Zone after 2 years of working just fine. I’ve disabled/deleted entities/user all on the HA side but no joy. I’ve removed and reinstalled the app on the iPhone several times. I’ve checked the “sensors” on the iPhone companion app and they are enabled. I’ve removed her account rebooted and added her again.
I’ve done restarts after every change or reboots and no change.
I’ve tried everything I could find in every topic, but none of it works. Is this a bug in the companion app or the HA? Please see the attached files. I can post the companion app log files when she gets home IRL ( but the only way I can test is for her to leave for work!
