Home Assistant Core 2026.7.X update issue on HA Yellow

Hi there,

Almost everything is in the title… Since 2026.7.X came out, I can’t update anymore (was done on a regular basis, my current version is 2026.6.4)

I press on update button, it does something and come back but update is still there..

Apparently, core crashed.
You might want to check for errors in the core logs ha core logs

What server hardware are you using?
I would suspect the SD card if there is one involved.

Raspberry Pi CM4008016 Compute Module 16 GB, 8 GB RAM

Have you tried update in safe mode?
If your hue setup isnt extensive try remove hue integration and install it back when update is done or check all devices using the hue app

Well, I wanted to so I was not seeing any update anymore, I removed the power cable and power it on again.

It’s pinging but web console is not coming back…

Where should I start now? Thanks in advance!

connect a monitor and keyboard to your ha-device ,if you are running in VM, check the HA-CLI in the VM console
