Home Assistant Energy Dashboard - Missing Entities

Good day
Please assit me I am new to Home Assistant and I am trying to add my energy tracking. I have a Goodwe Inverter and I have installed the goodwe app in home assistant.

I have created a helper in HA to measure my batter discharge, I can see this entity in the mushroom dashboard however I cannot see it in the energy dashboard to configure Energy coming out of the battery. Please help me get this right, I am frustrated now.

How do I do it correctly.

Check the attributes under developer tools → states.
It should have

state_class: total_increasing or total
unit_of_measurement: kWh
device_class: energy
