For a while now, I’ve been having a problem with Home Assistant: the front-end connection is disconnected when the computer has been in screensaver mode for a while.
When the screen is reactivated, I see the message “connection lost - reconnecting” at the bottom of the active screen.
I’ve tried several browsers, Chrome, Edge, and Brave, but the same thing happens everywhere. This also happens on a Lenovo tablet where I display a dashboard. It’s quite annoying because every time the screen is reactivated by motion or touch, I see the screen appear, but then it refreshes first.
I’ve disabled the “Disconnect background connections” setting in the browser settings in Home Assistant.
A few weeks ago, I didn’t seem to have this problem for a while, so I think it should be fine.
Of course, I’ve already read various posts and searched extensively for a solution, but I still can’t find it.
Can anyone help me with this? What’s causing this?
