Home Assistant Green (HA OS 2026.8.3) - Get HACS installs successfully but HACS integration does not appear

Hi,
I have a fresh Home Assistant Green installation.

Versions:
- Home Assistant Core: 2026.8.3
- Home Assistant OS: 18.2
- Supervisor: 2026.07.5

What I did:
1. Added repository:
GitHub - hacs/addons · GitHub

2. Installed “Get HACS” from the App Store.

3. Started Get HACS.

4. Logs show:
INFO: Installation complete.
INFO: Remember to restart Home Assistant before you configure it

5. Restarted Home Assistant.

6. Cleared browser cache.

7. Tried hard refresh.

8. Tried InPrivate browser session.

Result:
- HACS does not appear in Settings > Devices & Services > Add Integration.
- Searching for “HACS” or “Home Assistant Community Store” gives no results.
- No HACS-related errors appear in the Home Assistant logs.

Supervisor status:
- Connected
- Supported
- Healthy

Did anything change in HACS installation for Home Assistant 2026.x, or is there another step required after Get HACS finishes successfully?

Thanks for your reply, I managed to install it after a second restart (probably the first restart didn’t work).
