Hallo,
what is the best way (or is there a way) to install Home Assistant on my BananaPI M5 with 4GB of Ram? I can’t sell it for a proper price to get a Raspberry. I’m quite sure, the hardware could handle it.
Is there a way?
Thank you
Wolfgang

If it does not support HAOS you can try Container.
Hi, did you try searching:
Thank you for your response. I’m in an age, that I do not allow myself to spend many hours for a solution. I need a solution now. Therefore I sold the Banana PI for 50 Euros and bought a Raspberry PI5 4GB for 116 Europs (plus NVME-Hat and a 250GB NVME)
But thank you for your time.
That doesn’t seem to be a bad deal although lately, the advice is to buy a mini PC because the price/performance of RPi’s is not that interesting anymore.
Yeah, I got a second hand HP mini PC for 45 euros. With a 6th gen i5, 256 G SSD and 8G RAM. Pi has a hard time beating that!
