Home Assistant OS cannot connect to Nabu Casa Cloud – certificate/handshake errors despite stable system (well-paid support wanted)

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a persistent and extremely frustrating issue with my Home Assistant OS installation. I’ve reached a point where I need professional help – and I’m absolutely willing to pay well for a working solution. This is not a casual post – I’m serious, and I value your time and expertise.

The situation:

Home Assistant OS is running flawlessly locally on an Intel-based machine.

My home network has a high-speed fiber internet connection – stable and fast.

The system has full local access, no issues.

However: Home Assistant cannot connect to the Nabu Casa Cloud anymore.

The error message is:
“Certificate creation failed. Check your logs.”

Connection attempts loop endlessly and fail due to SSL/TLS handshake issues.

What has already been tried:

Multiple top-level Linux experts here in Austria have worked on this.

DNS, system time, IPv6, HTTPS access – all verified.

No router or firewall blocks.

Cloud integration has been reset and reinstalled.

Even alternate remote access solutions (like Tailscale) were attempted – without success so far.

Despite all of this, no connection to the Nabu Casa Cloud is possible anymore. The service used to work – now it simply doesn’t, and no error is shown beyond the certificate failure.

What I need:

Either a working reconnection to Nabu Casa Cloud

Or a stable, long-term remote access solution that I can use while abroad

I am prepared to pay very well for your help.
I’m not looking for charity – I respect professional work and I’m happy to compensate accordingly.
Let’s say: I’m open to serious offers in the three- to four-digit euro range, depending on what’s required and whether remote or on-site support is needed.

If you’re experienced in solving complex network or cloud-related HA issues, and feel confident enough to take on this challenge, I would be very grateful for your help.

Please message me directly or reply here. I’m also happy to discuss the details in private if needed.

Thank you in advance for your time and any ideas you can share.

Best regards,
Alexander
