Home Assistant OS new install on Igel thin client - boot order & GRUB config question

I just bought an Igel M350C to migrate my install to.
(X)Ubuntu boots from USB and I can put on the image onto the 256GB SSD I added. See Igel M350C Thin Client at the very bottom.
Imaging as per https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/generic-x86-64/went fine but I’m hitting a wall on the BIOS config - it won’t let me change the boot order. I then installed Xubuntu on the internal 8GB Flash drive but can’t figure out what boot option to add to GRUB for the SSD. Not all the partitions have GUIDs and the Grub-Customizer tool doesn’t detect anything usable (that could be saved).

Does anyone have a GRUB2 config from a similar x86 system they could share?

I looked thru your docs on that and don’t see UEFI mentioned anywhere. That means you would need to use container install most likely in the Linux OS of your choice and HAOS wouldn’t work straight up.

the original Flash drive had EFI, Xubuntu does now too IIRC

Ok, the internal 8GB flash drive can be disabled and the Igel boots from an NVME drive via the 180° adaptor. The 2nd hand NVME just happens to have some issues: nvme i/o error sct 0x2 MORE DNR.
With another one (Samsung) I was able to install Proxmox (which I considered as a backup).

You can configure the boot order (and add an entry for haos) with efibootmgr on e.g. Ubuntu. haos runs well (bare-iron) on the m350c with NVMe SSD.

Cheers,
I only got that to work on mine after disabling the 8GB flash altogether in the BIOS - might have to set a password to access the option.
