Home Assistant OS on rpi4 boot from external SSD?

I couldnt find what I am looking for, so I had to make a new thread.
So, I am trying to avoid the sdcard wearing, and instead I want to install OS to an external ssd.
For the last 4 years I am using HA, I am using a venv and it was convenient for many reasons.
This is the first time I am wiling to install the OS.
So, how am I going to do that? I couldnt find a guide either. Only guides on sd card installation.

Another question is, I would like to install motioneye on the same raspberry. Can I do this if I have HASSOS installed?

Just use your SSD as if it was an SD card, flash image to SSD instead of SD Card, plug in to pi and boot. Sit back and wait as per instructions for SD card.

Yes, that did the work! Thank you.
Do you know if I will be able to install other software like motioneye on this OS?

No, you won’t. You can only install what’s offered as HA-add-on’s.
That’s the idea behind having HAOS as a supportable but closed/limited operating & HA-system.
