I have purchased a Synology NAS to run Home Assistant and do backups
I have installed the app on my iPhone
I can access from my MacBook the NAS and I have a docker container with Home Assistant
I have well noted down the passwords. Once it was on my MacBook, I cannot log in again from my phone.
I changed password on MacBook. Then I can access neither on MacBook nor on phone with the new password.
I recreated the Home Assistant container, let Apple decide the Password.
I am in on my MacBook, but cannot type the unknown password on my Phone
Key chain does not show the password (maybe because of :8123 at the end.
How can I get my NAS, my phone my computer into one Home assistant so that I can start adding the real devices of concern
If HA was installed in the last month or 2, don’t use the 8123. The default for new installs is 80 which is the default on regular web browsers, so you do not need to add a port at all.
